Photography

We have vast experience in the production of architectural photography, working in collaboration with renowned architectural photographer John Gollings and his team. Expert consideration of siting, environment and lighting are incorporated in the construction of superb contextual imagery for virtual architecture and landscapes.

Photographic montage

Rendered buildings and landscapes are composited seamlessly into background photographs. Images are prepared by our in-house photographer for final output, ranging from traditional photographic and newspaper prints, to CD-ROM, posters, billboards, animations etc.

Certified montages

With experience in the production of planning montages since 1997, we deliver a fully-certified planning suite, including montages and reports suitable for submission to planning tribunals such as VCAT. Our services include all liaison between client, planner, legal team, surveyor, photographer, and architect required to complete the job accurately and on time (as well as any expert witness appearances deemed necessary).

Copywriting

Providing professional copywriting services direct to our clients, standalone or as part of an overall campaign, producing effective taglines, onscreen graphics, voiceovers, and other written materials to support brand awareness and drive compelling communication of ideas and key objectives of the campaign. FloodSlicer has vast experience synthesising all types of information in the architectural, master plan and place making.

Scriptwriting

Producing screenplays that accompany the storyboarding process, as a way to illustrate often intricate ideas to be presented in animation form. The scriptwriting process allows multiple avenues and concept ideas to be explored during the initial stages of a project, ensuring the best result is chosen to produce a strong and agreed plan of approach, theme, visual aesthetic, and story.

Styling

With complex interior or retail work, we use our knowledge to interpret and compliment supplied briefs to provide detailed styling, to bring computer generated imagery to life. This may involve populating scenes with selected people, virtual ‘set-dressing’, or animating objects. When appropriate, we introduce professional stylists and costume designers to further enhance this process.

Sound

We produce soundscapes as diverse as our projects. From corporate to cutting edge, urban to forest retreat, we design original music and soundscapes to provide a compelling dimension to visual components.

Editing & output

We edit visuals for atmospheric and maximum impact. The final edit is tailored for output in any format; compressions for web viewing, high definition DVD, or even printed to celluloid for screen projection.
